Ask yourself:
- Are systems integrated — or are people moving data manually?
- Can logic run automatically — or does it depend on human initiation?
- Are workflows observable, auditable, and explainable?
- Can AI and humans collaborate in the same decision flow?
- Can identity, policy, and access span multiple systems and actions?
If you score mostly 0–2 ? You're early-stage and ready to modernize.
If you’re 3+ ? You’ve reached orchestration — now aim for composable interoperability.
